The Live Webinars page evolved through several enhancements to improve functionality and accessibility:

  • A - Original Live Webinars Page: Initially a basic page on the Illinois Chapter’s website, offering minimal interactivity.
  • B - Enhanced Webinars Page: I redesigned this page within the original environment to include interactive accordions for expandable content, branded colors, speaker photos with bios, registration buttons, and play buttons for past webinars.
  • C - Standalone Website (alzwebinars.org): This page was later developed into a dedicated site, alzwebinars.org, with webinars produced in collaboration with the Kentucky and Indiana chapters. Based on the success of the Programs by Phone layout, which I designed and built, the webinar producer requested a similar layout. I adapted the design with the branded teal color for clear differentiation from the Programs by Phone site’s purple theme.
  • D - Expanded Previous Webinars Section: The previous webinars section was modified with expandable content to allow more listings without overwhelming the page, accommodating additional program archives as requested (see slide 2).

The Live Webinars site incorporated features for user engagement and content management:

  • A - View Past Webinars Section: Initially, 12 programs were listed, which was later reduced to 9 to streamline content accessibility.
  • B - Expandable Content View: The section utilized expandable content to display program details without overcrowding the interface, allowing users to easily navigate past webinars.
  • C - Registration for Access: Users were required to create a registration account and enter their emails to access past programs. This process facilitated tracking of viewers and analysis of which content was most popular.
